The Romantic sooky sooky story part 15

"The princess suffered a gunshot wound to the neck, and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Today Princess Aarti, all of Russia weeps for you. May you rest in peace."

Sasha shut the television off and and leaned further back on his pillows. The woman to his left shuffled a bit, her naked form protruding from under the sheets, her platinum blonde hair hiding her face. He wanted to shout at her, tell her that she never should've done what she did, that she would never satisfy him like Aarti would. But how could he hurt his own mother?

She stirred again and hugged him. Her eyes fluttered open, revealing light gray eyes, a content smile on her face. "Today Sasha, today is the day we meet with the council...and I will be the Queen of Russia."

He simply nodded and abruptly rose from the silk bed. She frowned and watched his naked form head for the bathroom. Before he could enter she spoke, "Are you not happy for your dear mother?" He stopped suddenly, his head hung now, "Thrilled." With that, he entered the bathroom and closed the door without so much as a glance at her.

********
They entered the council room, surrounded by dozens of men, all dressed as judges. Sasha stayed behind as Lady Fedorov walked to the center of the room, mentally prepared for whatever they had to say. She wasn't leaving until that crown was bestowed on her head.

She wore a black 18th century type of dress and a black netted veil over her face, to show great respect to the council as well as to show her dedication to her mourning for her husband and 'daughter'. She bowed low to the whole room and awaited the head councilman to speak.

"Rise Lasy Fedorov." The highest Lord, Lord Gorbachov said, his voice strong and commanding. She rose slowly, a crocodile tear running down her face. Gorbachov continued.

"For your loss Lady Fedorov," this time the whole council rose, "...we send our sincerest condolences..." She cried even harder now as Sasha appeared at her side, holding her close. She sniffle then nodded to him. He nodded and return to his place by the entrance. She turned back to the council, and unseen glint in her eyes as they all sat down.

"Although we hate to do this, there are situations that must be dealt with NOW."  The men in the room began to whisper among themselves now. "Now that the king AND princess have perished, both in less than 2 weeks, Russia is left without a sovereign. There have been suggestions of you, or your son, running the state."

She turned around angrily and looked at Sasha, who's eyes were currently bulging out of his head. He simply looked away and coughed.

"We have been discussing it all morning, and have decided to vote." Gorbachov rose and looked at his colleagues. "All in favour of Sasha Petrov, Baron of Russia, becoming Sovereign of State, raise your hand." Out of the 45 other council members, 13 raised their arms. Gorbachov wrote down the number and asked again. "All in favour Lady Ivanka Fedorov, becoming Sovereign of State, raise your hands." 22 men slowly raised their hands. Gorbachov wrote the number and looked around, "I'm assuming the rest of you are all still either mourning, or indifferent." Some nodded, the rest just stared at him.

He turned to her now, her handkerchief over her mouth, hiding the wide smile, while her eyes still bore a look of sadness. "Lady Nadyenka Fedorov, as of this moment, you are Sovereign of State, Queen of Russia. Your coronation will be two weeks from now. For now both the King's and Princess' funerals will be tended to in a couple of days, and then you will be quickly crowned."

She bowed humbly, her forehead almost touching the shiny tiles. "If you see me fit council, I shall humbly accept this, but know that I accept with a heavy mind and a saddened heart. My heart will forever be empty, with half of my family gone."

They all bowed in response to her. "Now rise Queen of Russia." She rose, "You are dismissed." She nodded for the last time and left the council room, Sasha bowed a last time, and followed closely behind.

The Romantic Sooky Sooky story part 14

He felt the bed move beneath him, then an arm encircle his waist as he instinctively wrapped his arms around the warmth. He felt content, a feeling he hadn't felt in a long time. He snuggled closer to the warmth and slowly opened his eyes to see black...everywhere. He shifted his eyes downwards to see a very lightly tanned delicate ear, pierced with a white pearl earring.

He lifted his head to see that somehow, they had found their way to each other, and he was now holding her close, her face right below his chin. He thought for a while, 'Should I get up? Or switch positions? I don't want to wake her...' He sighed and put his head down, closing his eyes. 'Thank God it's Sunday,' he thought as he slipped into a deep sleep again.

*3 hours later*
He felt like he was being watched, no...stared down. He opened his eyes, and looked down to see her oceanic eyes piercing into him. She whispered, a crimson blush lightly painting her face, "How did I get here?" He frowned, "You were in an accident and-", "Net," she interrupted him, causing him to stop his explanation, "I mean, how did I get..." she looked at her own arms, wrapped around him, "Like this?" He lied, "We must have done it in our sleep." Well, it was only a half lie. They were sleeping, he just kind of allowed it to happen.

She was still blushing as she thought of something to say. "Are...Are you hungry?" her voice seemed timid and shy. "A little." He replied.

She awkwardly removed her arm, and sat up. She crawled to the edge of the bed where she glimpsed the clock. It was 1:36, which mean they slept for about 14 hours. She opened the fridge and retrieved some ham, baby lettuce, pickles, olives, mustard and mayo. She began toasting 4 slices of bread, then washed the lettuce.

She made two ham sandwiches for them both, along with glasses of orange juice. She sat two seats away from him at the counter, staring into her sandwiches as though they held the secret of the universe between the lettuce and tomatoes. He cleared his throat, and her eyes found his. "I'm sorry about...waking up like that." She shook her head, "It wasn't your fault.." He nodded then went back to eating, as did she.

An awkward silence befell them.

"I have a lot of stuff to do today." He said as he took a sip of orange juice, "What kind of stuff?" she asked, taking a bite of her sandwich. "Supermarket, dry cleaners then I wanted to go and visit my parents." She nodded, "Okay." He popped a sliced olive in his mouth, "Would you like to come along?" She stopped drinking her juice and put the half full glass on the counter, "Really?" He turned to her now, "Sure, why not? You're cooped up in here all day. A little fresh air and something to do will be fun for you." A little smile crossed her face. She nodded and quickly ate. As she swallowed the last of her juice, she quickly put the plate and glass into the dishwasher, grabbed some clothes and entered the bathroom. She took a quick shower, brushed her teeth and clipped her hair into a simple pony tail. She opened the door after 10 minutes dressed in simple navy skinny jeans and white turtle neck sweater white a panda bear on the front, her socks on. "I'm ready!"

He smiled, "I can see that. Let me take a shower." She nodded, sitting then swinging her legs a little on her stool. 10 minutes later he emerged from his room in dark jeans and a tan sweater. He walked over and retrieved her jacket and boots and handed them to her. "Here you go." She took them eagerly, putting them on as fast as she could. He chuckled as he slipped his black snow boots on, along with his heavy padded, tan jacket. They left the apartment walking beside each other.

~*At the Supermarket*~

"Okay, since you'll be the one cooking, how about I just follow you around and you pick things up?" he said, almost a little relieved that he didn't have to shop. She nodded happily and walked in front of the grocery cart he was pushing. She remembered what Rachel Ray and Ina Garten taught her, picking up vegetables and jars of olives, and cheese. Then some steak and chicken.

The left they supermarket each holding two paper bags, "Wow, we went all out, didn't we?" he said, chuckling. She nodded happily, a slight blush on her face.

He walked to the end of the street and turned into a tiny shop. "Hey, I'm here to pick up my dry cleaning," he said the man around the counter.

"Ticket." The man simply replied, his accent faint.

"Oh," he replied, searching through his pockets, pulling out a crushed piece of paper. He handed it to the man, who nodded and turned to the clothes hung behind him. After 3 minutes, the short man returned with some shirts and pants covered in plastic. "Here." He said then suddenly froze. His eyes met cerulean orbs and he nearly dropped the hangers.

"Printsessa?" He mumbled, losing all feeling from his feet.

"Izvinite menya?(excuse me?)" She was puzzled, she could have sworn she heard the man call her a princess.

He fell to the floor, grovelling at her, "Ya tak chest byt' v vas prisut-stviya!(I am honoured to be in your presence!)" He began kissing her feet, and hugging her legs. She managed to squirm away from him, to run behind of James and press her face into his back.

The man rose and began to walk towards them, causing both James to take a step back. "Hey man, you're scaring her!" The man stopped, his eyes fixed on Leena,whispering to himself, "Printsessa Rossi v moem magazine!"

The man was distracted as James grabbed his clothes, and left, Leena on his tail unable to hold on to him. She only gripped her grocery bags tighter.

After 5 minutes of brisk walking, he turned to her, "What was he saying? Was he crazy?" She turned to him, her eyes lost and confused, "he said he was honored to be in my presence. I...I could not hear anything else." He nodded and looked ahead of him, he could see the red roof of his parents house. "We're almost to my parents...let's not mention the crazy guy to them alright? We'll discuss it when we get home."

She nodded and looked ahead.

They walked up to the house and knocked on the door. He heard the small peephole open then close followed by a lock being unlocked. The door opened to reveal a blond woman, streaks of gray littered her hair. Her face was lightly wrinkled, and her brown eyes twinkled when she smiled. "Jimmy, brought me all these gifts?" she said jokingly. James laughed and walked into the house, placing all the bags on the ground and the clothes and a coat hanger. He turned around and embraced his mother briefly, "Hey mom. How've you been?" She smiled and ran her hand through her hair, "I've been well. You're father on the other hand is such a stubborn man." He chuckled, "Is he eating cake again?" His mother sighed and threw her hands in the air in frustration, "The man has diabetes and wants to eat bacon! Could you please tell him he's not a young lad anymore?" James chuckled, as well as his mother.

Her eyes caught the young girl who clung to her grocery bags as if not to be seen. "Ah, and who is this?" his mother asked sweetly. He turned to Leena and smiled, "Oh, this is Leena. My....friend. She'll be staying with me for a while." His mother raised her brow at him. He mouthed, "I'll explain later." She nodded and walked over to the young girl, "Here dear, put those down so that I may properly introduce myself."

Leena hesistantly put the bags by James' and stood and stared at the older woman before her. Suddenly, she was enveloped in a hug. She stood frozen, then gently wrapped her arms around the woman. She was warm, and soft, and smelled like apple pie. 'Like a mother...' she thought as the woman held her away from her body to get a proper look at her. "You're such a pretty little thing! What's your name dear?" The younger woman mumbled, "Leena, ma'am."

"Well my name is Selene. Your accent...where are you from, Leena?" The blond asked.

"Russia. What part...I don't know." Leena replied solemnly.

"Oh." Selene replied, looking towards her son who mouthed, "leave it alone."

"I hate soy cheesecake!" A voice from the kitchen shouted in frustration. Selene and James smiled as they both turned towards the kitchen to see a tall, brown haired my(with gray streaks), blue eyes and a beard. He was the splitting image of James, except for the eyes. He was about to argue when he saw his son and a strange young woman. "James, my boy, what brings you?" He put the offensive cheesecake in the fireplace, causing his wife to grumble, and walked over to the three. He briefly hugged his son and turned to the girl. He stuck his hand out, "Name's Jonathon, dear. This one's father." He said, gesturing to James.

She thought Jonathon was familiar. He screamed 'father' as the crows feet on his face showed age as well as knowledge. She suddenly felt the urge to curtsy, "Leena."

Everyone stared at her puzzled as to why she would do such a thing. She was confused as well, it was just an urge, something she felt like she should do. Jonathon smiled and bowed as well, "Nice to meet you mi'lady."

She was suddenly lost in her thoughts as she saw people in her head, curtsying as she walked by, or when they came before her. She had been standing. seemingly zoned out as James called her name. "Leena...you alright?"

She sighed and stared at him, "I remember something."

The Romantic Sooky Sooky story part 13

He awoke to the familiar scent of potatoes and coffee. It seemed as if  they had gotten into a small routine of eating breakfast, having a small conversation, then him leaving to go to work and coming home later to find a nice home cooked meal on the table. He actually quite liked it.

He rose out of bed and slowly walked to the kitchen. following the savory scent of food and suddenly stopped in his tracks. There she was on the balcony, barefoot in the snow wearing the long white skirt, a white long sleeve sweater, her hair down just staring into the sky, allowing the snowflakes to fall and melt on her face. He unconsciously held his breath...she looked like an angel. He shook his head and quickly opened the glass door, ran outside and grabbed her hand, pulling her towards he apartment. He dragged her in and quickly closed the door behind him, then turned around in anger, "What were you doing out there?! You could have been frozen to death!"

She simply stared at him, her mind blank and her eyes void of any emotions. He sighed and walked into the living room to retrieve her blanket. He wrapped her in it, but it fell. She was just...standing there. He growled in frustration and scooped her up bridal stye and laid her on her bed/couch, and tucked her in, hoping to get the purple colour to subside from her toes, fingers and lips. He walked into the kitchen to get her a cup of coffee when he heard her speak.

"I remember...when...when I was a little girl..." she said, he quickly left the empty mug to sit beside her on her bed, "I loved the snow..." she whispered.

Her eyes met his as he smiled wide, "so you're remembering things!"

She looked away from him, "I saw the snow and that was the only thing I remembered."

He was puzzled, " so how'd you know the little girl was you?"

She snuggled under her blankets, "She had the same color eyes as mine."

He scratched his chin, "Maybe a cousin or something? I dunno.."

"Net....it was me."

He looked at her and saw the sadness etched on her face. He had no idea what to say to her...he's never been in her shoes. He got up, went to his room and re-emerged with his clothes and shoes on. He walked over to the door grabbed his jacket, then grabbed hers and threw it on the bed beside her. "Put that and your uggs on, we're going out for breakfast."

She numbly nodded, slipped her feet into her shoes, put her coat on and stood beside him.

*Cafe'*

"This scone...is delicious." She said, a little smile spread across her face, a little blueberry jam on the corner of her mouth. He smiled and handed her a napkin and touched the corner of his mouth. She took the napkin, puzzled as to why he would give it to her. He took the napkin and nervously wiped the jam off. A crimson red was instantly painted on her face. He put the napkin down and before he could open his mouth again, he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Fancy seeing you here!" The voice was familiar but he couldn't figure it out until he turned around. There was Abi (Nurse Smith) standing with a styrofoam cup in her hands, he red hair in a bun, her eyes painted with make-up. 'They're nothing like the turquoise blue of Leena's....wait, where'd that come from?' he thought, shaking the image from his mind.

"Abi, nice to see you again." He said politely.

"Nice to see you James!" He thought she sounded a little too excited.

"Oh," she turned to the young girl dressed in full white and threw a small wave, "Hello."

As Leena opened her mouth to respond, but was cut off by Abi. "So James, how have you been?"

He took a bite of a scone, "Good. Leena's doing great too. She speaks a little English now."

Abi's eyes caught Leena's now, "Oh, she does. That's nice." She turned back to James, as Leena's eyes cast downward.

"Anyways, we should have lunch sometime, or coffee, y'know?"

"Uhh, if I have the time, maybe. I've got your number, so I'll give you a call. Okay?" he said a little uninterested.

Her smile dimmed a bit, but she nodded then smiled even wider. "Okay, just give me a call, okay?"

He nodded.

"Well, I'll see you later, okay?"

"Yea, sure. No problem." He said, almost begging her to go, he had no idea why, but Abi made him a tad uncomfortable.

She looked at Leena, and there seemed to be a small glimmer of animosity, then turned and walked away.

Leena flinched, and quickly found the mug of her hot cocoa and stared into it.

"Hey, you okay?" he asked, holding out another scone to her.

She took it, and bit a small piece, "Das, I am fine."

He nodded and sipped his cocoa.

They finished their breakfast and were walking down the street. "Do you not work today?" she asked quietly.

"Today's Saturday. I dont work on Saturdays and Sundays." He said, his hands safely away in the warmth of his pockets.

"Oh." A little smile on her face.

He side glanced her, noticing the smile and smiled to himself.

He suddenly grabbed her hand and began running causing Leena to stumble over herself a couple times.

He suddenly stopped, causing her to fall on her bum. He looked down at her, breathing hard, as she looked up at him doing the same. Then she burst into a fit of giggles, that caused him to laugh as well. He helped her up, and opened the door to his apartment. They both went up the stairs, still laughing and settled into the couch bed. He turned the television on, then turned to her. "Wanna watch a movie?"

She smiled and nodded.

He changed the channels until he found the Sixth Sense and made popcorn. They settled in the couch bed together, a foot away from each other and watched movies all day until they eventually fell asleep.

The romantic sooky sooky story PART 12

"But...but mistress, the princess always asks myself and Ivanka to dress her, why does she need new servants to dress her now?" Yelena asked, following Lady Fedorov's skirt tails closely. "The princess has demanded new servants. She is mourning... your old faces reminds her of her poor, deceased father..." Lady Fedorov said, almost sympathetically, "But my Lady-" Yelena began, "I want no more of this, Yelena. Back to the kitchen with you, there is much to be done!"

"Das...I understand." Yelena replied, bowing with the intention of doing as she was told.

She slowly walked to the lower levels of the castle, where the kitchen and laundry room resided. She walked in, a solemn look etched on her face, and began to prepare beef stragonoff and Borscht for the nights dinner, while the other servants prepared Balyk Sorpa with rice, Svitanak and Abzhorka along with some desserts. She sliced onions, deep in thought, 'Why would my little Aarti wish...for new maids?' she sighed, 'Poor little sveetheart...'

*Meanwhile*

Lady Fedorov entered the princess' room to see three new maids dressing the 'princess' in a pencil skirt suit, a well fitted blazer, and an inner pink shirt, a pair of patterned black pantyhose and real shine leather pumps. Her make-up was lightly done, with bright red lipstick, her hair in a traditional bun. They placed the sash of the princess on her, and the last piece, 'her' crown was placed on her head.

"All of you are dismissed," she said, authority strong in her tone. The three curtsied, and left the room. As they closed the door, the former queen made her way over to the 'princess'. "Now, here are your instructions. Do not fidget, do not embarrass me, and most important of all, DO NOT SPEAK."

"But what if they ask me a question?" The prostitute's voice was high-pitched and timid, nothing like the smooth, proud, authoritative tone like Aarti's. Lady Fedorov rubbed her temples, "Shut up! I told you not to speak, did I not?"

The young girl quickly nodded and took a step back in fear.

"All you have to do, is nod 'yes' or shake from left to right, 'no'. That is it. You aren't dumb enough to mess that up, are you?" the Lady said, taking slow strides closer to the young girl. The girl replied with a firm shake, her head bowed in submission.

"Now come, we must leave to go to the courthouse where you shall meet with the high judges of the country and decide when your coronation shall take place. You see? I have not betrayed my word, you shall be Queen of Russia, and I shall take my place as your chief advisor," the older woman said, a sadistic smile etched on her face.

A wide smile graced the girl's face as well. 'One minute I was selling my body on a corner, and now...I shall be Queen of my country...'

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Dozens of security guards lined the entrance of the palace, along with police in cruisers and horses, along with a black stretch limo, the Russian flags perched on each side on the bumper. Six security guards surrounded the princess, the former queen and Baron, a title the recent King bestowed upon him, Sasha, as they entered the limo.
They drove in silence to the courthouse, a large crowd gathering at the entrance. The limo came to a slow stop. An attendant opened the door, allowing the Lady and Baron to exit the vehicle, then the 'princess'. Dozens of media personalities and cameras flooded the the square, Russian flags waved among the crowd, and people screaming "Bless the princess!"
The young woman sat in the limo, she took a deep breath, and for a split second, wished she was back on her corner, eating Shashlyk(a popular Russian street food, like a kebab). She quickly shook the thought from her head. She would be Queen, and would be able to get whatever she wanted. No more worrying about where the next meal would come from, or if she would be raped or killed today. Or if her landlord would kick her out of her tiny, insect-infested apartment for unpaid rent. She sighed for the last time and nodded in conviction. As she exited the sleek limo, she did a full turn, waving to the people, a small smile on her face. Never did she feel so important, or even special. As she took her first step towards the courthouse, a shot echoed throughout the whole square, loud gasps and screams heard from the crowd.
The guards and police scrambled, as the people shouted and panicked, everyone fumbling over each other, people falling and stepping on each other. As the crowd cleared, three distinct figures could be seen.
A man holding an older woman, both with a fake look of horror on their faces, and a young woman on the ground covered in blood.
The princess was dead.
The romantic sooky sooky story PART11
The scent of bacon and eggs filled his nose, but what caused him to open his eyes...was the smell of coffee. He sat up and stretched for a while, then got out of bed to drag himself to the kitchen, contrary to popular belief, he hated mornings(who doesn't?).
She had her back to him, flipping bacon and spooning butter on top of eggs to cook the whites(thats how i do it when i'm making a sunny side up egg =P). "Morning," He said groggily. "Dobroye utro ( Good morning)”, she said, not even glancing behind her.  He nodded and took that as a 'good morning', too lazy to even ask what the word meant.
He jumped two feet in the air when he heard the bread pop out of the the toaster, then slowly sat back down again, muttering, "Damn toaster...nearly gave me a heart attack..." He stopped his musings when she placed a large plate of eggs, bacon and orange segments in front of him, then another beside him. She buttered some toast and poured two cupfuls of coffee, adding milk and white sugar to hers. She walked over to him, put some toast in his plate, then the coffee beside his plate, did the same for herself and sat down beside him.
As she sat down, she closed her eyes. He watched her for a while, wondering what she was doing, until she opened her eyes and began eating, which he proceeded to do as well.
"Thank you for breakfast, Leena."
"Velcome." She mumbled, taking a sip of coffee.
"Wow, with this kinda treatment, you must have been good to your boyfriend!" He said laughing, but stopped as soon as he saw the look on her face.
She sat, a piece of toast mid-way to her mouth, her eyes widened. She lowered her arms into her lap and stared at them.
"Oh...I'm...I'm sorry, I forgot." He murmured, looking away in shame.
"So have I." She replied. She continued eating, her eyes glistening from unshed tears.
He opened his mouth to comfort her, but he closed it, then tried to change the subject, "So, you learned to speak English by watching television?"
“Da. I watch tv for….” She looked up at the sky like she was thinking, “Seven hours.”
He nearly choked on a piece of bacon, “You watched t.v. for SEVEN HOURS!?”
"Da." She simply replied, sipping coffee.
"What does that mean?"
"Vhat?" she looked at him now, her eyebrow raised.
"That word, 'da'." He turned to her as well.
"Oh, it means, 'yes'." She nodded to show him what she meant.
"Oh, okay" He smile and went back to eating.
"Oh, btw, there are some clothes in the bag by your bed, and...other things...Do you know how to use a washing machine?" he asked.
"Net...no." She replied.
"Well, I'm going to show you, then you can do your own laundry when I'm not here, I know you don't want me to see your...stuff." He said.
She blushed and looked away. "Okay. After breakfast."
He nodded and they ate in silence. They finished and as she washed all the dishes, he got all his laundry as well as hers, laundry detergent, bleach and dryer sheets, well dressed in work clothes.
"Come on," he shouted over his shoulder. "I'll show you." He said, dropping a pair of black uggs in front of the door.
She placed the plates in the dryer and ran to the door, stopping short. She looked down at the shoes, then up at him. "Put them on, with your socks on. It's cold down there." He said, a smile on his face.
She smiled and slipped her feet into the warm shoes. He locked the door behind her, then made his way downstairs, Leena following closely.
He opened a door to a basement, lined with washing machines and dryers.
"So, all colours, all dark clothes and all white should be washed separately. So I'm going to do all the colours first." He said as he put all the coloured clothing together, the put them in a washing machine. "Since it was a big load, add 2 cup fulls of this detergent, like this." He demonstrated by pouring some detergent in a cap, then pouring it into the machine.
"Then adjust the load, based on the size. This is a lot of clothes, so we would turn the dial to 'large', and since its coloured clothes, use warm water. Dark colours use cold water, and whites use warm or hot water. For white, add a little bleach, to keep them bright."
She nodded, taking everything he said into her memory.
He closed the machine, and pushed the button, listening to the water filling up. He put the basket of clothes on top of the machine and walked over to a dryer. He opened it and took a dryer sheet of the box on top of the clothes, "When those are done, put this sheet in the dryer, then the clothes. Turn this dial to 'large' because it's a large load. Close the dryer, and push the button to start it." She nodded again. He put the sheet on top of the clothes and turned to her, putting a hand on her shoulder.
She blushed and looked at his hand on her person, then looked at him, "I'm going to work now Leena. There's chinese in the fridge from last night, you can warm it up in the microwave then eat that if you get hungry." She nodded dumbly, her face hot.
He nodded and walked up the stairs, leaving her in the basement by herself. She stared at his back, watching him go up the stairs, the blush slowly fading.
He opened the door to his apartment, grabbed his bag and key and made his way back to the basement.
She stood watching the close being worked in a counter-clockwise motion. "Hey," he said, startling her out of her thoughts, "Here's the key to the apartment, when you're done, you can go back up." She nodded and took the key. She looked around for somewhere to put it, then bent down and put it in her shoe.
He chuckled and adjusted his tie, "See you."
She turned back to the washing machine, watching the suds swirl.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He arrived at work, early as ever and opened all the locks and codes. He watched as the regularly scheduled janitor came in to wipe the floors and the desks clean. He organized some files, and messages, all the while wondering how Leena was doing with the laundry.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She took great care in everything she did, following James' instructions to the tee and she took the last of the whites out and put them in the basket. She closed the dryer and trudged up the stairs, stopping to close the basement door behind her. As she made her way to the apartment, she was stopped by two familiar men who met her half-way up the stairs.
"Uhhh, good morning miss." One said.
 "Dobroye utro ( Good morning)”, she said, a little cautious.
"My name is Detective Jones and this is my partner Detective Stephens. We spoke to you at the hospital, remember?"
She thought for a while, racking her small memory for their face, "Oh! Da! Yes, I remember you! Come, come inside!" she said excited, they were detectives, maybe they had found out her identity. She rushed to the apartment door, basket in hand, and reached down to her shoe, retrieving the key and unlocked the door quickly.
She opened it and the detectives strolled in casually as she placed the basket on the bed, ran to the kitchen and turned around, "Vould you both like something to drink?"
"Some coffee would be nice, it's freezing out there." Det. Jones replied.
She nodded and retrieved two mugs, walked over to the coffee pot and poured them two hot cups. She walked over to them, handing them the mugs and turned around, walked back to the cupboard to get cream and sugar. She fetched them and placed them on the coffee table, along with two tea spoons.
She sat in the chair in front of them, hands folding in front of her and eagerly awaited the words that would hopefully bring her some relief.
"So, " Jones began, "We...we still haven't found out who you are yet."
She sighed, her shoulders slumped, but she still stared at him.
"The hairs we found on your suit belongs to a George Lewis, and Nicholas Murray, two convicts released on probation. Now, with you having amnesia, and the hair of these criminals found on your body, we think it goes much deeper than this."
She was interested now, "How deep?"
"We don't know. But the last known place these boys were seen was at the Canadian/American Border. Which seems suspicious, that would be violating their probation. Then it hit us, they were running. Running from what? We don't know, be we've contacted the Canadian government and police to hand them over as soon as they're located." said Det. Stephens.
"Alright, at least it is progress." She nodded.
"You learned English fast." Det. Jones said happily, trying to change the mood.
"Yes, I vatch alot of television." A small smile graced her face.
"Wow, t.v. actually has a valid use." Stephens said, chuckling.
They all laughed, while the Detectives rose from the couch. "Well, that's all we've got for now Miss.."
"Leena. James has named me Leena." She replied.
"That's a nice name." Jones said with a smile.
She nodded and followed them as they made their way to the door, "Has James been treating you well, Leena?" Stephens asked.
"Das, very well. I am comfortable." She replied.
"Good." The detectives mumbled. "We'll be back if we have any updates, or to check on you." Jones added.
"Das, I will be waiting." She said.
They nodded and left, as she closed the door behind them. She walked over to the clothes and began folding, hoping that they would find out who she is as soon as possible.
Life As I know it
So here's an update of my life. I'm sure everyone knows about my on again/off again poisonous relationship. But you know what pisses me off? When you ask the person over and over again if their cheating, and they laugh in your face and claim their not, but yet people from all over are calling you telling you otherwise. It's like as soon as you say, "Kay, time to grow up and trust." Someone calls u n says some shit like "oh, yknow i saw ___ with ___, i didn't know you two broke up." and you have no choice but to say, "I didn't know that either."
So what do you do after this happens..not once, not twice, but so many times you feel like you're going to rip your hair out?
LEAVE THEM ALONE.
There, your life will be much better. If you both are meant to be, then it will happen for you. If not, then u two will stay out of contact, date other people, see if u really want to be with that person...etc.
So, here wat, im gonna start dating around :)
The romantic sooky sooky story PART 10
It was 5:36pm as James watched the janitor wipe the floors for the last time that day. As soon as she put her materials away, and bid him farewell, he took a good long look at the art gallery. He stretched, and then walked around the gallery, entering all manner of codes, locked the glass door along with the metal blinds and secured them to the ground. The gallery was properly protected.
He jumped on his black Yamaha bike, his bag slung over his shoulder and began his small journey home. He stopped at a small Chinese restaurant on a corner and bought shrimp friend rice, orange chicken, broccoli beef and pork spring rolls(hey, he’s big on meat ^_^ in a non-homo way @_@). He tied the large bag of food to the back and made his way home.
On his way home, he passed a department store and stopped short. ‘She does need a few things,’ he thought. He turned the ignition off, and slowly reversed till he was in front of the store. He parked his bike, took his helmet off, grabbed the food and made his way to the warmth of the building.
He put the food around a desk in front of a clerk, grabbed a small basket and walked around for a while, his shoes echoing on the hardwood floors until he found a 6-pack of small white t-shirts, an 8-pack of white tube socks, and although he was uncomfortable with the thought, he headed over to the female underwear section.
He stood there for a while, puzzled.  “B-cup? C-cup? Comfort brand? What the hell is all this supposed to mean?!” He shouted to himself. A woman, who looked to be around 35, wearing khaki pants, a navy polo shirt and sneakers made her way over to him as soon as she heard his frustrated growl,  “ Need some help, sir?” she asked, a smirk on her face. His confusion was obviously amusing to her. “Yes, uhhh…” He bent down close to her ear, “I’m looking for ladies underwear.” She nodded, “For you?” she asked. “NO!” he shouted immediately, and then regained his composure.  “For my…cousin, yea, my cousin. She’s here for a while unexpectedly, so I’m just buying her some underwear and stuff for the duration.”
The woman nodded in a yea-sure-your-cousin fashion. “And what size does your cousin wear?” He thought for a second, ‘What size does she wear?’ He scratched his head and said the first thing that came to mind, “Her hips are kinda wide, but her waist is a bit smaller. She’s still a tiny girl though. She looks about 5’3, 16 years old.” The woman nodded and went into the staffroom.  She brought back a diagram with each underwear size tacked to a board. “Now, which one does she look like she’d wear?” She asked. He stared at each carefully. Some looked too wide, others looked too small, and one looked like a parachute, but he spotted one that could possibly fit. “That one,” he pointed. She nodded and proceeded to the aisle and rack, grabbed a pack of Hanes women comfort fit, cotton, multi coloured and handed it to him. “There you go, anything else, sir?” she asked politely. “Yea…um…bras?” he asked, a little hopeful.  She smiled, “Proceed.” He took a deep breath, “They look small,  but they look big enough to have a small cleavage.” A big Cheshire smile was plastered on her face, ‘Cousin my ass!’ she thought and chuckled to herself. She handed him a 6-pack of 34B bras, Hanes, multi-coloured. “Is that it, sir?” she asked, a little annoyed. “No, uhh, I wanna buy her some really cheap clothes, just regular casual clothes, jeans, sweaters, y’know stuff like that.”  She thought for a while, “There’s a thrift store down the street. They got some good stuff down there, really cheap. Oh, by the way, buy her some shoes for the weather, in case she goes out.” He hiked his basket of goodies over his shoulder, “Thanks a lot, I’m gonna cash these out.” She smiled and waved, “Your welcome.”
He went up to the cashier and paid a surprising $27.60 for everything. He grumbled a bit, “woman making me spend money, bah humbug (^_^).”  He took his bag and left the store. He jumped on his bag, did a u-turn and went down the street, parking across the road from the thrift store.  He took all his bags into the store, leaving them with a clerk, like the last time and walked around the store. He looked around, without the help of clerks, and picked up some small sweaters, a heavy white padded jacket, with a furred hood, some black Uggs, a white long skirt, stuff that young girls would like. He cashed out and paid a record $15. “Wow, *I* should shop here.” He said with a wide smile on his face. “Sir,” the cashier whispered, “My advice is to wash the clothes before you wear them…in hot water.” He nodded, grabbed his bag along with the rest of his things and left the store. Wasn’t him that was wearing ‘em anyway.
He tied his thing to his bike and drove so fast, he basically flew home. He walked lazily up the stairs and opened the apartment door, the aroma of meatloaf, beefy gravy and garlic mashed potatoes tickled his nose. He shut the door behind him and placed her stuff on the bed, taking the Chinese into the kitchen with him. She stood in front of the stove, still in her red shirt, t-shirt and socks, humming a tune while she tossed caramelized onions with carrots and string beans in a creamy butter sauce in a skillet.
She turned around and threw the spoon in the air in surprise, “Oh!”  He walked over to her, “It’s alright, it’s just me.” He picked the spoon off the floor and put it in the clean sink. She turned and poured the side dish into the plate, and put the skillet in the sink. She washed both the skillet and spoon and put them in the dryer, drying her hands on a kitchen cloth.
She reached over him, her natural scent reaching his nose, and opened a cupboard to retrieve two plates. She took them down, grabbed two forks and knives, as well as glasses from the dish dryer. She went in the fridge and took out a bottle of Carlo Rossi white wine, 2000 and placed it in front of him. He looked at her. She smiled shyly, “Take it as ‘thank you’ vor letting me stay here.” Her Russian accent evident. He was surprised, “You speak English now?” She turned away, looking towards the television, “I learned,” She whispered.
He put the Chinese on the counter, took his jacket off and sat to eat, “I wish you told me so I wouldn’t waste my money on Chinese food. It’s okay I guess, Chinese food tastes better after a day.” He shoveled a heaping spoonful of mashed potatoes, gravy, meatloaf and vegetables onto his plate and ate without shame. She shyly poured him a glass of wine, like a waitress would, while she silently asked herself how she even knew how to pour wine properly. She placed it beside him, and made a small plate for herself, poured a glass of wine and sat a stool away from him. He watched her, from the corner of his eye as she gently folded a kitchen cloth in her lap, and took small bites of her meatloaf and vegetables. He smiled to himself, and took another bite of his carrot.
“What should I call you? Nameless won’t work.” He said, not looking her way. She thought for a while, “De shows I vatched, Rachel Ray umm, Cat Cora, and uhh Ina Garten. You may call me one ov these.” She didn’t look his way either. “No, I don’t like those. How about something simple, like Mary, or Lizzy, or Sarah?” She put her hands delicately over her lips while she chewed, “I do not like.” He scratched his chin and thought, “How about Leena?” She closed her eyes, “I like dat, yes.” He nodded, “Then we’re in agreement.” He put his fork down and turned to her, his hand outstretched towards her. She turned to face him and looked at the hand, “Nice to meet you Leena, I’m James.” She blushed and took his hand, shaking it gently, “James. Nice meeting you.” Her Russian rolled off her tongue.
